Raised by a single mother in the Houston area, a priority for young Dari Shelton was working and fixing things around the house. He became a self-trained handyman out of necessity.

Dari attended Texas A&M University and worked for many years after with Pappas restaurants. During that time, he married and moved to Austin. Over the next few years, he and his wife purchased several homes that needed renovation, pushing Dari to learn new skills as well as master many that he had been practicing for years.

Enjoying the success of his newfound skills, Dari began to work at the restaurant less often, and began to spend more time helping others with their home projects. That is how Shelton Home Services was born.

Over the years, Dari has earned the trust of many new and repeat clients. He lives with his wife and two children just north of Austin.
